Amazon Prime Day 2025 Begins July 12 With Huge Discounts

Amazon India has announced the commencement of its annual Prime Day sale, which will take place from 12:00 AM on July 12 to 11:59 PM on July 14. The three-day event is exclusively available for Amazon Prime members and promises extensive discounts, rapid delivery, and special product launches across major categories.

Amazon will feature deals across Smartphones, Electronics, TVs, Appliances, Amazon Devices, Fashion, Beauty, Furniture, Grocery, and Daily Essentials during the 72-hour sale window.

Akshay Sahi, Director - Prime, Deliveries & Returns, India & Emerging Markets at Amazon, stated that Prime Day 2025 aims to deliver value and entertainment to members. He added that the company's AI assistant "Rufus" is now available on desktop, enabling smarter shopping with real-time comparisons, suggestions, and easier decision-making.

Amazon’s operational investments have recently expanded, including a fresh INR 2,000 crore injection to scale logistics. Abhinav Singh, VP - Operations, Amazon India and Australia, highlighted the addition of over 30 new delivery stations in Tier-2 and Tier-3 regions, enhancing order fulfillment capabilities in cities like Nagpur, Panchkula, Mohali, Indore, and Howrah. These facilities complement Amazon’s existing network of over 2,000 delivery points and 28,000 I Have Space partners nationwide.
